About Lamorinda Lacrosse Club

Lamorinda Lacrosse Club is a non-profit organization that provides boys and girls the opportunity to learn and play the game of lacrosse. The club primarily serves the communities of Lafayette, Moraga, and Orinda CA. Participants from the surrounding area are welcome as well. Lamorinda Lacrosse Club is run by volunteers and paid coaches.

Lamorinda Lacrosse Club offers programs for boys ages Under 9 to Under 15 and girls ages Under 11 to Under 15. Our players mostly feed into Acalanes, Miramonte, and Compolindo High Schools; As well as Carondelet and De La Salle. Lamorinda Lacrosse Club is a member of the Northern California Junior Lacrosse Association (www.ncjlax.org). The NCJLA consists of over 50 clubs ranging from Monterrey to Redding. We compete with these clubs from February to May. Most divisions end with playoffs and championship competition.

The boys under 9 division is for boys born between 1/1/2001 and 12/31/2002. Formally known as the “bobble heads” our U9 division is an introduction to field lacrosse. The team meets on Sundays only throughout the spring. The team will compete against other clubs in 7 V 7 competitions.

Under 11 is for players born between 1/1/1999 and 12/31/2000.

Under 13 is for players born between 1/1/1997 and 12/31/1998

Under 15 is for players born between 1/1/1995 and 12/31/19997

***All teams under 11 and above meet 2-3 times per week for practice. Games are played on Saturdays and Sundays, average travel is about Palo Alto, CA.

***All Participants are required to have a Lamorinda Lacrosse uniform.

***Girls are required to have goggles, mouth piece, and stick

***All girls participating in the 2010 season are required to purchase the new girls uniform.
